Perform independent review, approval, inspection, and acceptance of residential, commercial, and public works project proposals including plans, hydrologic and hydraulic models/analysis, drainage reports, traffic studies, and other floodplain management, development, and design related documents for compliance with Town of Estes Park and applicable local, state, and federal codes, standards, and guidelines.
This position will be filled at the CEII level. A BS degree in civil engineering or a related field is required. A minimum of 4 years work experience in transportation and storm water engineering, municipal land use development review, 1D or 2D surface water modeling, floodplain management, or closely related fields is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Must be a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Colorado and a Certified Floodplain Manager within 6 months of appointment.
The hiring salary rage for this position is $68,412 to $95,501 annually depending on qualifications and experience. This position is exempt per FLSA. Benefits include retirement, medical (employee and children only), dental (family), vision (family), life insurance, sick and vacation leave.
