AMT is seeking to add a dedicated Environmental Scientist to our office in Towson, MD. Perform field investigations including wetland and stream delineations and assessments, forest delineations, and species surveys
Perform TMDL assessments
Coordinate with state & local agencies
Ensure water quality compliance
Provide monitoring for environmental construction projects
Assist with NEPA compliance and environmental permit documentation
5+ years field investigation experience
Experience with Maryland State Highway Administration or other state DOTs is strongly preferred
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Biology or a related field
Agency coordination and permitting experience
Water quality monitoring experience
Environmental construction monitoring experience
NEPA compliance & environmental permit documentation
Resource training in wetland/stream assessment and design is desired but not required
