Create detailed studies, computer modeling and design tasks associated with storm water management works in support of development projects, subwatershed plans, floodplain mapping analyses, hydrologic analyses, erosion and sediment control studies, etc. 
Contribute to watercourse realignment and stormwater management planning, design and implementation; 
Conduct hydraulic analyses of sewer systems and channels; 
Complete Master Plan / Subwatershed Planning and Environmental Implementation studies; 
Coordinate project needs and deliverables with other teams, clients, and consultants; 
Certification of stormwater infrastructure. 
Functional Servicing Studies and Detailed Design support. 
Permitting and approvals. 
Water resources policy studies and guideline development. 
Public and stakeholder consultation; 
Provide direction and oversight to technical support staff to fulfill project needs; 
Contribute to, and lead, proposal/bid opportunities; 
Interact with clients and build client relationships; 
Produce reports and correspondence with a focus on high quality, clarity, and technical justification; 
Manage and train junior staff 
Complete field assessments, analysis and evaluations as required. 

Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of water resources engineering experience in consulting engineering or in a regulatory agency; 
Registered as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) or EIT with Professional Engineers Ontario. Consideration will also be given to applicants who do not have a P. Eng. designation. 
Water resources project experience in the public or private sector, particularly with land development. 
Ability to work independently and within a supportive team environment. 
Knowledge of provincial and municipal environmental regulations and guidelines. 
Creativity, understanding of the gray area between theory and practical application. 
Ability to plan, organize and manage projects, deadlines, and clients. 
Strong analytical skills with knowledge in hydrologic and hydraulic computer modeling platforms, and Excel. 
Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication and technical writing skills.
